Two independent channels accept proximity-probe or magnetic-pick-up signals to deliver:
shaft speed (1 – 50 000 rpm, ±0.1 %)
rotor acceleration / deceleration
zero-speed & reverse-rotation detection
conditioned Keyphasor® pulse to the 3500 back-plane
The card is not intended as a primary overspeed-protection device; for API-612 redundant trip use 3500/53 instead.
