Product Identification
3500/50 is the dual-channel tachometer / Keyphasor blade for every 3500 rack.
It measures shaft speed, rotor acceleration, zero-speed and direction from:
eddy-current probes (3300 XL, 7200, RAM …)
magnetic pick-ups (MPU)
Hall sensors
Speed window, acceleration-rate and reverse-rotation alarms are compared < 8 ms; conditioned Keyphasor® pulses are placed on the back-plane so a separate 3500/25 is not required.
