The separated paths let the controller-network supply remain electrically isolated from its input while field I/O power passes through a separately protected, non-isolated circuit.

Can two B&R X20PS9400 modules be planned for a redundant X2X supply?

Yes. B&R documents parallel connection and redundant operation for the bus-controller and X2X output. The station load, wiring and fault behavior still require an engineering check.

Which installation parts must be ordered with B&R X20PS9400?
