MTL4015 is a legacy single-channel switch/proximity detector interface that drives two safe-area relay outputs and provides phase reversal plus line-fault detection.
It energizes a field sensor from the hazardous-area side and transfers its state to two independent safe-area relay contacts for control and indication.
The input is intended for switches or proximity detectors conforming to DIN 19234/NAMUR characteristics.
Two safe-area relay contacts can be used for independent control and status functions, with phase reversal available.
Open- and short-circuit conditions in the field wiring can be detected and indicated for maintenance.
It is designed for a mechanical switch or a NAMUR/DIN 19234 proximity detector in the hazardous area.
