Target applications are gas-turbine inter-stage cooling valves, ethylene-cracking-furnace draft dampers and millisecond-trip differential-pressure valves—any control loop that needs command and feedback inside the same Tricon scan.
1.What makes it different
• 250 µs / 16 ch parallel update – four times faster than the standard T3481, fits directly into a 2 ms Tricon task.
• Every channel provides a differential 0–5 V read-back pin for positioner or transmitter feedback, saving one whole input board slot.
• On-line “auto-zero wipe”: Hall sensors disconnect the loop for 100 µs every 30 min, re-calibrate offset and gain, SIL 3 validity maintained.
• Field-side rating raised to 80 V dc, tolerates 48 V dc buses plus 100 % surge overhead.
