The GE UR6EH plug-in card gives any Universal Relay (UR) chassis eight true high-voltage digital inputs. Breaker auxiliary contacts, disconnect switches, spring-charge and gas-pressure flags can be wired straight to the UR6EH terminals—no interposing relays, no extra panel depth—while 2 kV optical isolation and <2 ms pick-up time keep protection logic and SOE records sub-cycle accurate.

Field dry-contact → UR6EH Euro-style terminal → on-board limiting → opto-coupler → UR bus. Self-resetting PTCs protect the circuit from surge or mis-wire; LED per channel gives local status at a glance.
