The GE UR6DH Digital I/O Control Module is a 32-point expansion card that slides into any vacant slot of the Universal Relay (UR) family. It turns the UR into a hybrid protection-and-PLC engine: 16 digital inputs sense 24 VDC field contacts, 16 dry-contact outputs drive coils, annunciators or lock-out relays, and 4 bonus analog channels (0–10 V / 4–20 mA) monitor battery voltage or pressure transmitters. All data refresh in <1 ms across the UR backplane, so tripping, interlocking and SCADA updates stay in sub-cycle time.
