Product Overview
140072-04 is the most common front PCB of the 3500/45 position monitor.
Plugged into a single 3500 rack slot, it conditions four independent channels that can be software-configured for:
axial (thrust) position
differential expansion (rotor vs. case)
case expansion (single or dual ramp)
valve / rod position
Inputs are accepted from proximity probes, DC/AC LVDTs, RPTs or potentiometers; each channel is compared to user-programmable Alert/Danger set-points and drives rack relays, buffered 4-20 mA outputs and the plant DCS/SCADA through the 3500 back-plane.
